Sounds fancy, doesn't it? This is the butter I slathered all over my turkey for Thanksgiving, but it's easy to prepare and can be used on just about any protein, or simply slathered on warm bread.
- 1 stick of butter
- 2 1/2 c. herbs such as parsley, rosemary, thyme and sage
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
Combine the first three ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until thoroughly combined. Season with salt and pepper. Using a spatula, scrape the butter onto a piece of plastic wrap. Roll it up lengthwise and twist the ends like the ends of a candy wrapper. Refrigerate until ready to use.
