Lauren's Bloody Mary

I don't know about you, but bloody marys are one of the things that I tend to find disappointing at most bars and restaurants.  Everyone likes them so different that it's nearly impossible to have a version that will please everyone.  So, I made mine at home to make sure it was just what I wanted.

Lauren's Bloody Mary

- 1 1/2 oz. vodka

- 1 T. freshly grated horseradish

- 1 T. pickle juice

- 1 tsp. celery salt

- 1 tsp. Old Bay

- 1 T. Worstershire sauce

- 1 tsp. hot sauce

- 8 oz. tomato juice or V8

- 1/2 lemon, juiced

- freshly cracked pepper

Combine all ingredients and mix well.  Pour over ice.  Garnish with olives or your choice of garnish.  If I had it on hand, I'd probably use hot pickled vegetables, pickles, olives, and something fresh and crispy.
