Sauteed King Crab Legs

Before we head into the fall, let's get the last of the good summer crab, eh? Your best bet is to get the best-looking crab- you can swap out whatever looks and smells the best to you - and have the seafood monger steam it for you. Then it's a quick and easy dish when you get home.

Sautéed King Crab Legs

Serves: 1     Time: 15 minutes     Difficulty: Easy but impressive!

INGREDIENTS:

- 2-3 crab legs, steamed and broken into pieces that will fit in a pan

- 1 T. butter

- 1 T. olive oil

- 1/2 shallot, diced

- 1 garlic clove, minced

- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes

- 1/4 c. parsley, chopped (reserve a pinch)

- 1/2 c. white wine

- lemon wedges for serving

DIRECTIONS:

Add the oil and butter to a pan. Add the shallot, garlic, and crushed red pepper and let them saute for 3-4 minutes. Add the crab legs, parsley and wine and let the dish simmer for five minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and additional parsley.
