Cranberry Sauce

I really don't think many people eat the cranberry sauce on Thanksgiving... it's all about smearing it onto a piece of bread when you're making a leftover sandwich.  Still, yummy!

Cranberry Sauce

- 1 bag fresh cranberries
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 orange, zested
- 1/2 c. red wine

Scatter the cranberries in a small pot.  Turn on the heat and allow to simmer until the cranberries start to pop. Add the sugar, wine and zest.  Let the wine reduce and break up the cranberries by mashing them with a fork.  Transfer to a serving dish and get a storage container ready.
