Grilled Oysters with Sake

This is super-fancy sounding and is just about the easiest thing in the world to make.  Don't trust me?  Read on.

Grilled Oysters with Sake

- As many oysters as you want, scrubbed and rinsed
- 1 oz. chilled sake per oyster
- a few grates of fresh ginger

Heat a grill pan.  Place the oysters on the grill pan.  Leave them there until they pop open.  While they cook, grate the ginger into the sake.

Remove the oysters from the grill.  Pop off the top shell and rinse any liquid out of the bottom.  Using a paring knife, remove the oyster from the abductor muscle.  Put the oyster in the bottom half and pour one ounce of the gingered sake into each one.
